Local Home Builders refers to construction companies that build homes in the local Charleston & Mount Pleasant area, these companies may be local Custom Building companies as well as National Building companies that are building locally.

There are many "New Homes" building and construction companies around. The ones mentioned below are a few of the more major or prominant ones, this is not to say that they are the best or the worst.

There are many smaller or custom build companies out there that may have a home to suit your needs, this is one reason to use a Buyer's Agent or Realtor®.

A Buyer's Agent or Realtor is a "no cost" option to you as a Buyer of a new home. The cost of these services are paid for by the construction company is part of there operating costs. Deciding not using a Buyer's Agent or Realtor will seldom reduce the cost of the home overall.

There are many new homes being built, some are new phases in existing sub divisions or communities. Others are complete new communities that are being built.
